Job Description We are seeking a passionate and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Delta Rue , supporting the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional daily operations and a consistently high standard of guest experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor ready to take the next step into management within a luxury hotel environment.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take a hands-on leadership role, supporting the team during service, developing our people and creating warm, skilled and personalised experiences for every guest.
Key Responsibilities Support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of Delta Rue.
Lead the floor during service, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.
Coach, support and develop the restaurant team, including training and onboarding.
Build a strong service culture focused on genuine, personalised guest interactions.
Maintain high standards of presentation, service and restaurant cleanliness.
Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues when required.
Lead pre-service briefings and ensure the team is prepared for each service period.
Work closely with the kitchen and wider Food Beverage team to deliver seamless service.
Support rostering and daily operational requirements while ensuring RSA, food safety, WHS and hotel procedures are consistently followed.
Qualifications Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership role within a quality restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
Ready to take the next step into an Assistant Restaurant Manager position.
Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Confident leading and motivating a team during busy service periods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A hands-on, organised and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
A genuine interest in developing people and building a strong team culture.
Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
