We are currently seeking experienced Welders / Fabricators to join a well-established and growing business based in Melbourne's South East, specialising in high-quality steel and stainless-steel security fencing solutions for commercial and industrial projects.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys variety in their day, and wants long-term stability with overtime opportunities available.
What You'll Be Doing TIG welding across stainless steel and mild steel products Approximately 60% TIG welding / 40% general fabrication and other welding processes Reading and interpreting workshop drawings Fabricating and assembling security fencing components and structures Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently Maintaining high-quality weld standards and attention to detail Working collaboratively within a fast-paced production environment What We're Looking For Previous experience in TIG welding and fabrication Strong experience working with steel and stainless steel Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings Experience within fencing, architectural metalwork, structural steel, or similar industries highly regarded Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's On Offer Competitive hourly rates + overtime opportunities Stable full-time position with ongoing work Modern workshop environment Supportive team culture Opportunity to work on specialised commercial security projects Immediate start available for the right candidate Casual Permanent roles available If you're a motivated welder looking for your next opportunity with a reputable business in Melbourne's South East, we'd love to hear from you.
