Tradelink Warrnambool is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a close-knit team and strengthen its position across the regional plumbing wholesale market.
This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong external sales focus.
You will oversee the branch's people, operations, sales and profitability while actively developing new business across Warrnambool and the surrounding region.
You will be supported by a loyal and experienced team with strong industry knowledge and long-standing customer relationships.
This is a full-time position based in Warrnambool, VIC.
Your new role: Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you will: Lead, train and develop the branch team to achieve measurable results Manage branch operations, systems and procedures to meet performance targets Drive sales growth and expand market share across the region Identify and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting Conduct regular customer visits across a broad regional territory Build robust relationships with plumbing contractors, trade customers and suppliers Manage and grow developing customer accounts Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities Balance external business development with the day-to-day leadership of the branch Work closely with the team to ensure exceptional customer service What you'll need to succeed: You are a confident and commercially focused leader with demonstrated success in business management, sales or branch leadership.
You will bring:



Strong leadership and team development experience Proven business development and new business acquisition capability Some knowledge of the plumbing, trade or wholesale industry Strong local market knowledge and community connections Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills Experience in face-to-face sales, prospecting and account development A proactive, hands-on and results-driven approach The confidence to take ownership, make decisions and lead from the front A current driver's licence and full Australian working rights Experience in plumbing wholesale or a related trade industry will be highly regarded; however, strong transferable leadership and sales experience will also be considered.
