Job Description As the People Culture Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the People Culture (P C) team across the full employee lifecycle, our HR systems, and our day to day operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build strong HR foundations in a supportive team.
Here you will help bring the NEXTDC values to life and contribute to a positive work environment across the business.
Prepare and process employee lifecycle paperwork, including onboarding, training and compliance records, employment changes and offboarding Act as the first point of contact for everyday employee enquiries, answering straightforward questions and escalating anything more complex to the P C team Enter and maintain data in our P C systems, ensuring records are accurate and up to date Provide administrative support to the Business Partners for our annual P C activities, for example remuneration reviews and NEXTPOLL engagement surveys Assist with the coordination of P C initiatives such as our Recognition and Health and Wellbeing programs Prepare routine reports for the P C team and internal stakeholders Keep the P C intranet pages current, including uploading and formatting policies, procedures and documentation To start as soon as possible, this is an initial 12-month parental leave cover.
Qualifications This is an entry level role, so you do not need previous HR experience.
You will have some administration or office experience, whether from a previous role,
a part time job or an internship, and a genuine interest in building a career in HR.
Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business or a related field are well regarded but not essential.
Experience using Workday is a bonus, though we are more interested in your confidence picking up recent systems and technology quickly.
Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise will help keep the P C team running smoothly.
You will have friendly, clear communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will be comfortable asking questions when something is unfamiliar, happy to follow established processes, and open to suggesting small improvements as you learn.
