An exciting chance exists for a motivated team player to join our Parks and Gardens team as a Multipurpose Officer in a Temporary Full-Time, Fixed Term for 12 Months capacity.

This position is based at the Colac depot.
As Multipurpose Officer Parks Gardens you will: Maintain a standard of the appearance, presentation and amenity of the parks, gardens and streetscapes for our residents and visitors to enjoy.
Become a valued member of the Parks and Gardens team, carrying out allocated tasks at the Botanic Gardens and other Parks, Streetscapes and road reserves within the Colac Otway Shire region.
Complete tasks with an emphasis on safety, quality and budget requirements to meet corporate values and standards.
About You: To support your success in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience in operating larger horticultural plant and equipment.
Capability of performing physical manual labour tasks.
Well written communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of horticultural operations.
Sound OH S knowledge and experience.
An OH S Construction Induction Card/White Card.
A current driver's licence is essential.
Heavy truck and/or EWP licence would be desirable.
Proven team player.
A willingness to undertake training in personal development programs.
