The Role We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of Warrikal's Accounts Payable function.
Working within a small, collaborative Finance team alongside experienced subject matter experts, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of accounts payable operations while contributing to continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct matching to purchase orders and receipts Prepare payment runs in accordance with company payment terms and maintain accurate account coding Maintain vendor accounts,



resolve invoice discrepancies and build strong supplier relationships Assist with month-end activities, including reconciliations, accruals and employee expense processing Supervise, mentor and support a small Accounts Payable team to achieve high performance Prepare reports, analyse AP data and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies Assist with finance system implementations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives Respond to internal stakeholder enquiries while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures About You Minimum 4-5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or similar accounting role Pronto ERP experience is highly desirable Previous experience leading or supervising an Accounts Payable team Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Experience within mining, construction, maintenance, contracting or project-based environments is highly regarded Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a rapid-paced environment Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail How to Apply To apply for the role, click on the 'Apply' button.
