Job Description Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
Oversee general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis.
Assist in the implementation of accounting systems and process improvements.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team.
The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skilled certification such as CA or CPA (or working towards).
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.




Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to work and a high level of attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Previous experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
