Your Impact As an Authorised Officer, you'll be a visible and important ambassador for Transdev John Holland Buses across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs bus network.
You'll play a critical role in supporting fare compliance, protecting revenue, promoting customer safety, and delivering exceptional service to passengers every day.
Working across Region 9, you'll engage with customers, respond to incidents, support crowd management activities, and help ensure a safe, positive, and efficient public transport experience for all.
This is a fixed-term full-time position working an 8-hour shift roster across the hours of 5:00am to 11:00pm, including weekends and public holidays.
You will receive comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the role.
What You'll Do Deliver revenue protection and fare compliance activities across the Region 9 bus network.
Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers travelling throughout the public transport network.
Conduct fare compliance checks professionally, fairly, and respectfully.
Act as a first responder to incidents on services, helping maintain passenger safety and welfare.
Deliver clear, accurate information to customers and effectively de-escalate challenging situations.
Support crowd management activities during service disruptions, delays, and major events.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth network operations.
Prepare reports and documentation relating to compliance and operational activities.
Represent Transdev John Holland Buses with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
What You Bring Experience Qualifications Current NSW Driver Licence.
Valid NSW Working With Children Check Clearance.
Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs bus network is highly regarded.

Commitment to safety, compliance, and following safe work practices.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and walk approximately 10km during a shift.
