Synopsis: INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fifth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing, transport and health care.
The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 69,000 and is culturally rich with 17.4% of residents being born overseas.

Operations Coordinator Salary: $80,****** per annum Closing: Friday 21 August **** Full time - Temporary (to June ****) Aquamoves is seeking an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the effective management of one of regional Victoria's leading aquatic and leisure facilities.
This role is ideal for someone with robust administration, budget management, compliance and people leadership experience who enjoys improving systems, streamlining processes and supporting operational excellence.
While experience in aquatic or leisure facilities is advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates with operational management experience across a range of service-based industries.
About the Role The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of Aquamoves, with a strong focus on administration, compliance, business improvement and staff leadership.
Key responsibilities include: Leading and supporting Duty Supervisors and Lifeguards Managing operational budgets, reporting and expenditure Reviewing and improving administrative systems, procedures and processes Coordinating contractors,
maintenance programs and cleaning services Undertaking risk assessments and promoting a strong safety culture Supporting compliance with OH S, legislative and Council requirements Assisting with business planning, asset management and procurement activities What We're Looking For Experience in administration, operations coordination or facility management Strong organisational, financial and problem-solving skills Experience managing budgets and operational reporting Knowledge of risk management, compliance and workplace health and safety Demonstrated ability to lead and support teams A process-driven approach and commitment to continuous improvement Highly Regarded Experience within the aquatic, leisure, recreation, sport, hospitality, local government or community services sectors Experience managing facility operations and contractor relationships Understanding of aquatic facility operations, plant systems or leisure industry regulations Apply now and help us create safe, efficient and outstanding experiences for our community.
