This full-time, maximum-term opportunity is ideal for a GP who is passionate about delivering culturally safe, evidence-based primary healthcare to Aboriginal children and their families.
Working alongside Paediatricians, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, and Aboriginal Health Workers, you will play a key role in early intervention, child development, preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, and integrated family-centred care while contributing to improved health outcomes for Aboriginal communities.

and chronic disease management Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Mentor GP Registrars, students, and clinical staff where appropriate Requirements Essential Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM Current Medical Indemnity Insurance Current Basic Life Support skills Robust communication, leadership, and teamwork skills Commitment to culturally safe healthcare and improving Aboriginal child health outcomes Desirable Experience or training in maternal and child health RACGP Accredited Supervisor Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities Knowledge of AGPAL accreditation standards If you're passionate about child health, early intervention, and making a meaningful impact within Aboriginal communities, we'd love to hear from you.
