Job Description At a Glance Work type: Outdoor, 38 hrs per week, 9 day Fortnight Salary: $68,****** to $75,****** plus 12% superannuation.
Employment Type: Ongoing Permanent Full Time If you're looking for stable, local work with great hours and long‐term security, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our Asphalt Crew at the City of Parramatta.
You'll work 6:00am–3:00pm , giving you your afternoons back for family, sport, hobbies or avoiding the peak‐hour rush.
About the role This role combines MR truck driving with hands‐on asphalt labouring .
You'll be part of a crew that works together to maintain and repair Parramatta's roads and civil infrastructure.
What you will be doing: Helping install and repair asphalt surfaces across Parramatta, real, hands‐on work where you can see the results of your effort every day.
Using a range of hand and power tools to prepare surfaces, including grading, compacting and general site prep.
Operating machinery such as rollers, pavers, plate compactors and skid steers (training provided if needed).
Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment from MR trucks and work vehicles.
Working as part of a tight‐knit crew, following instructions and completing tasks safely and on time.
What's on offer This is a permanent full-time opportunity: Monday to Friday | 9-Day Fortnight | 6.00am-3.00pm We are offering an attractive salary from $68,****** to $75,****** plus 12% superannuation.
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award ****, including the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.

We're looking for someone with: We're after reliable people who take pride in doing a solid day's work and enjoy being part of a crew that gets things done.
You may also bring: Experience in asphalt, concreting, civil labouring or similar outdoor trade work or willingness to learn.
Confidence using hand tools and small plant equipment such as compactors, jackhammers,



rakes and shovels The ability to drive MR trucks safely and responsibly A genuine enjoyment of physical outdoor work A strong team mindset and the ability to follow instructions and work safely with others Qualifications: MR Truck licence White Card Want to know more?
