The role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Tax Accountant to join the finance team of a well-established global organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role offers the chance to work across a broad range of Australian and international tax matters while collaborating with an experienced finance team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
With an immediate start available, this position is ideal for someone looking to further develop their technical tax expertise while gaining exposure to a complex multinational business.
The organisation is also open to transferring sponsorship for the right candidate.
Responsibilities Preparing corporate income tax calculations and assisting with tax provisioning.
Managing indirect tax obligations including BAS, GST and FBT compliance.
Supporting month-end and year-end tax reporting requirements.
Assisting with tax governance, compliance and statutory reporting.
Liaising with external advisors, auditors and regulatory bodies where required.
Providing tax support to finance and operational teams across the business.
Assisting with transfer pricing documentation and international tax matters.
Identifying opportunities to improve tax processes,



controls and reporting efficiencies.
About You CA or CPA qualification (or be working towards completion).
Previous experience in Corporate Tax, Business Services or a Tax Accountant position.
Sound knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements.
Solid analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large ERP systems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
Immediate availability What's on Offer 6-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start.
$120,000 + Superannuation.
Hybrid working arrangements based in North Sydney.
