YOUR NEW ROLE In this unique HYBRID role, reporting to both thetop calibre managing partner+ anexpert commercial law partner+, you will relish the autonomy+ challenge+ stimulating variety servicing many high quality clients (predominantly businesses)+ leading a small team.
Specifically , you will be practising in: Corporate/Commercial transactions -buying/selling businesses (including property management businesses rent rolls)/mergers acquisitions, shareholders agreements, directors duties, corporate restructures, due diligence, joint ventures, licensing/distribution, retail/commercial leases, business succession planning (eg buy-back agreements)and general commercial contracts; and Intellectual Property -mainly relating to trade marks; Franchises -eg advising on sale/purchase/restructuring/importing/exporting of franchises, Franchising Code of Conduct compliance, Competition and Consumer Act and compliance matters.

WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: Are currently @ associate-senior associate level and/or minimum 5+ years (no maximum years) PAE; have broad-ranging commercial (transactions/advisory) law experience [including preferably some trade marks and/or franchising law experience] with solid technical/research + legal drafting skills (essential); are a high performer with an 'inner-drive' committed to excellence +success; you work hard + desire to be rewarded too ; are results-oriented with positive energy+ highly adaptable; have had some business development/client marketing experience (preferable)+ willing to engage in BD/marketing; are hungry to ADVANCE your career long-term in a KEY pivotal role you can 'OWN' (and fulfil any partnership ambitions) with a 1st-Class firm that offers a refreshing 'no-ceilings' +open+ collaborative forward-thinking culture.
