Why this role matters The Salvation Army (TSA) Supported Accommodation and After-Hours Crisis Response Services works with adult and child victim survivors who have experienced or are experiencing family violence.
The program provides a welcoming and accessible environment that is safe and supportive to individual needs.
About the role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to deliver assessments, crisis response and specialist Family Violence crisis case management services to victim survivors.
The role also includes working with individuals and families intensively to provide support to move through the crisis program to safe and longer-term accommodation.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a fixed-term full-time position, contracted until July ****, based on-site in Sunshine, VIC.
Conditions Compensation is in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 5.
You will successfully Establish effective relationships with clients that encourage self-determination and participation and uphold the principles of the National Family Violence Model of Care Make ongoing assessment of the victim survivor's issues, needs and circumstances from initial intake to exit Develop individual case plans in collaboration with victim survivors and include a range of interventions that address the needs or goals of clients Assist victim survivors to access holistic support services and establish community connections,



and where needed are assisted through advocacy with service providers You will have Must hold or be 'working towards' an Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Level 7 or above qualification in family violence or a related discipline .
