We're partnering with a high-profile NSW Government organisation seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team during one of the busiest and most commercially significant periods of the financial year.

The Opportunity Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll partner with operational and executive stakeholders to deliver strategic financial advice and insights that support informed business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing strategic finance business partnering across multiple business units Delivering accurate month-end reporting, financial analysis and management reporting Supporting End of Financial Year reporting requirements Contributing to budget preparation, forecasting and financial planning Developing financial models, executive reports and commercial insights Improving reporting processes,



dashboards and templates using advanced Excel Challenging assumptions and providing commercial recommendations to stakeholders Supporting audit requirements and key finance projects Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting About You You are an experienced Finance Business Partner who can quickly build credibility with senior stakeholders and confidently operate within a complex organisation.
You'll bring: Demonstrated experience in Finance Business Partnering within a large or complex organisation Solid budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification Previous experience within NSW Government or the broader public sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
