About the Position This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy, high-performing kitchen in a popular coastal venue.
Offering $*****K + super , the role is ideal for a chef who thrives in high-volume service, enjoys leading from the front, and takes pride in delivering consistent quality.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in kitchen leadership, team development, and maintaining strong operational standards.
Relocation assistance and short-term accommodation options are available, making this an excellent opportunity for chefs considering a lifestyle change.
Position Description Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations Lead kitchen service periods and maintain consistency during high-volume trade Supervise, train, and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff Assist with rostering, ordering, stock control, and supplier management Maintain food safety,



hygiene, and WHS compliance standards Support menu execution, seasonal specials, and quality control Assist with functions, events, and peak holiday trade periods Contribute to a positive kitchen culture and strong team environment Position Requirements Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume pub, hotel, or bistro environment Demonstrated ability to lead teams during busy service periods Robust understanding of stock control, ordering, and food cost management Experience delivering consistent quality across large service volumes Comfortable working within a fast-paced, commercially focused kitchen Strong communication and team leadership skills Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance requirements Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery highly regarded Salary Advantages $*****K + super, depending on experience Relocation assistance available Short-term accommodation options available Join a respected hospitality group with strong operational support Work in a busy, well-established coastal venue Excellent lifestyle opportunity on the NSW South Coast Opportunity to work with an experienced leadership team Sous Chef | $*****K + super.
