Hybrid role | Mondays Fridays from home Scale and stability | Work for one of the largest global retailers Employee discounts Based in a satellite office of a major retail company, this role liaises with vendors on behalf of the organization's various divisions to support merchandise flow.
It provides administrative support to the relevant supply chain team, runs reports to track timely delivery of merchandise, serves as the first point of contact for that team, and builds strong working relationships with corporate divisions and partner units to ensure mutual understanding and efficient management of the vendor community.
Key Responsibilities Serves as point of contact for the logistics, merchandising, and compliance team Produces weekly reports as part of initial reporting duties Ensures completeness and accuracy of all required logistics data and information Onboards and trains new vendors Maintains and updates contact information for all vendor services Maintains and updates the vendor welcome pack and compliance tracker Ensures vendors submit correct documentation Coordinates with buying and merchandising teams on purchase order flow and compliance requirements to align with company standards Ensures vendors have access to the company's and freight forwarders' systems required for export Works with vendors to confirm all necessary product and customs compliance information is received for direct import of merchandise into the US, Canada, and UK/EU markets Job Impact Supports the logistics/trade compliance specialist to ensure smooth team operations Decision Making Manages vendor non-compliance issues and recommends appropriate changes or improvements Makes decisions on pending open orders to ensure timely, accurate shipment and uninterrupted supply chain flow Key Skills, Knowledge Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Background in customer service and administration; logistics experience an advantage Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organization, initiative, analytical ability, self-motivation, and capacity to work independently and in a team Ability to communicate across organizational groups and levels, internally and externally Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Good follow-through and ability to prioritize tasks to meet organizational goals Reports to a senior logistics and trade compliance specialist Apply directly or send your resume to ***********************
