Learn more about us: Home | 5B – Solar Reinvented The Opportunity We are seeking a highly capable Procurement Specialist to join our growing Supply Chain team, based at our Mascot office.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, this role plays a critical part in supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and procurement operations across a dynamic, fast-scaling global business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Ability to work cross functionally in developing sourcing requirements and strategic targets.
Conducting research to identify and furnish partnerships and develop existing and potential supplier relationships.
Keep abreast of upcoming projects, roadmaps, management reports, contracts and technology changes.




Analyse market and enterprise data to provide reports/recommendations to management.
Run and develop RFx processes in line with agreed strategy.
Support supplier screening, selection, assessment and qualification Establish supplier performance metric targets and conduct supplier reviews Business compliance including record keeping, approvals, spend within budget and conducting business in line with company policies and procedures.
Develop procurement processes and procedures with a continuous improvement mindset Assist in procurement based reporting and analytics Deliver on KPI's and business metrics About You Qualifications Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field Professional certification (e.g. CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, CSCM) highly regarded Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain roles Experience working with international supply chains Exposure to technical or engineering-based materials, drawings, and documentation preferred Experience within the solar or renewable energy sector is advantageous Experience with commodities markets would be beneficial.
