Our client is seeking an experienced Assessments Team Leader with strong expertise in commercial and consumer lending to join their team in Perth on a 12-month contract.
Reporting to the Head of Credit, you will lead a team of three Assessors and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality lending assessments across SME, business, and consumer portfolios.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a credit leader to remain close to complex lending decisions, while also driving team performance, compliance, and service delivery.
What you'll be doing: Lead, coach, and support a team of three Assessors across commercial and consumer lending portfolios Ensure timely and accurate lending assessments while maintaining credit quality and risk standards Provide guidance on complex commercial and consumer credit assessments and act as a key escalation point Oversee reporting and monitoring of team performance Partner with the Head of Credit on credit policy reviews, audits,
