Public Sector People is partnering with a Sydney Council to recruit an experienced Communications Officer to support a busy and high-impact communications function.
The Role You'll support the council's communications function by managing media, creating clear and engaging content, and helping deliver communication and marketing plans.
What you'll be doing: Write media releases, statements, and other communication materials Manage media enquiries and work with journalists Create content for digital and traditional channels Develop, deliver, and review communication and marketing plans Identify and promote positive stories about council services and projects Do you have: Robust written and verbal communication skills Experience in media and public relations Previous experience working in local government Proven experience delivering communication campaigns Well organised,
