This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity emergency department with strong senior support, making it ideal for experienced ED Registrars looking for a well-supported regional placement.

Launceston General Hospital is a major regional referral hospital and an ACEM-accredited training site, providing comprehensive emergency and specialist services across Northern Tasmania.
The department offers excellent clinical support with multiple FACEMs on site, no solo night shifts, and access to key subspecialties including a 24/7 cath lab and ECMO-capable ICU.
