Exploring Tree Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks for young children while ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks in accordance with childcare nutrition guidelines.
Maintain a clean, secure, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage food ordering, stock control, and kitchen inventory.
Cater to children's dietary, allergy, and cultural requirements.
Work collaboratively with educators and management to support children's health and wellbeing.
Requirements:



Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related field.
Previous experience as a Chef, preferably in childcare, education, or a similar setting.
Knowledge of Australian food safety and hygiene standards.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
