Mig Welding Forklift Ticket Reliable Transport Skillforce Recruitment are seeking a Trade Assistant with Basic Mig Welding Expereince for ongoing work based in Cockburn .
Core Responsibilities Prepare Materials: Measure, cut, clean, and fit metal components, often tack-welding or clamping them in place.
MIG Weld: Operate MIG welding equipment to fuse metal parts, ensuring proper amperage, voltage, and gas flow.
Grind Finish: Use grinders to smooth welds, remove imperfections, and prepare surfaces for finishing.
Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for strength, appearance, and compliance with specifications (e.g., zero defects).
Safety: Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and maintain a clean,



hazard-free workspace.
Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor repairs on welding equipment.
Key Skills Requirements Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
Familiarity with tools: grinders, clamps, callipers, welding guns, etc..
Robust attention to detail and precision.
Physical strength and stamina.
Troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.
