Senior Project Manager | Aged Care Retirement Living Client-Side Project Management | Sydney The most important projects aren't always the biggest.
They're the ones that change how people live.
A home that allows someone to remain independent for longer.
A community designed around connection rather than isolation.
A place where thoughtful design, commercial decisions and quality construction have a very real impact on someone's everyday life.
We're looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects across the aged care and retirement living sector.
This is a senior client-side opportunity for someone who knows how to take a project from an idea on paper through the complexities of design, approvals, procurement and construction—and ultimately deliver a place people are proud to call home.
More Than Project Delivery At this level, project management isn't about maintaining a programme and producing reports.
It's about leadership.
You'll be the person clients trust when decisions need to be made.
The person who brings consultants, contractors and stakeholders together when priorities compete.
And the person who can see the bigger picture while still understanding the detail that determines whether a project succeeds.
You'll lead projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients to protect their vision, manage commercial and delivery risk and create successful outcomes for everyone involved.
What You'll Be Taking On You'll have genuine ownership across the project lifecycle, including: Leading complex development and construction projects from inception to completion Acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for clients Establishing project strategy, priorities and delivery pathways Leading consultant and design teams Managing procurement and contractor engagement Navigating planning,

approvals and complex stakeholder environments Maintaining control of programme, budget, risk and quality Resolving challenges before they become project problems Leading project meetings and driving accountability across delivery teams Supporting and mentoring less experienced project professionals These are projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and no shortage of complexity.
You'll need to be comfortable making decisions, having difficult conversations when necessary and keeping people focused on the outcome.
Who We're Looking For You've probably spent the last decade or more delivering complex property or construction projects.
You may come directly from aged care or retirement living.
Or your experience may have been built across residential, build-to-rent, health, housing, mixed-use or other complex developments where understanding the end user is just as important as understanding the construction programme.
What matters is that you can lead.
You'll bring a strong understanding of how projects move from concept to completion, along with the commercial judgement and people skills required to manage clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders with confidence.
You'll ideally have: Significant experience delivering complex property or construction projects A background in client-side project management, development or a comparable project leadership environment Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, architecture, property or a related discipline Strong knowledge of design,

procurement and construction delivery Experience working in complex or operational environments The confidence to lead senior client and stakeholder relationships A practical understanding of construction and what actually happens on site But just as importantly, you'll know how to bring people with you.
Because successful projects aren't delivered by spreadsheets.
They're delivered by people.
Why This Opportunity?
Because you've reached the point in your career where the projects you choose should matter.
You'll join a highly regarded project consultancy with a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity to play a significant role in a growing sector.
You'll be trusted to lead.
You'll work with experienced people who value good judgement and practical thinking.
And you'll have the opportunity to continue growing your career without disappearing into the machinery of a huge organisation.
You'll enjoy: Leadership of complex, meaningful projects Genuine client ownership and influence A strong pipeline of work across a growing sector Exposure to sophisticated private and institutional clients The opportunity to mentor and develop others Flexibility and autonomy Long-term career progression within a high-performing consultancy Build Places People Will Call Home Aged care and retirement living are changing.
The next generation of projects will need to deliver more than beds, buildings and compliance.
They'll need to create better places to live.
If you're an experienced Senior Project Manager who wants to lead challenging projects, work with valuable people and deliver places with genuine purpose, we'd like to hear from you.
