Job Description
Within the boutique, your main mission will be to drive its overall performance by delivering an exceptional and highly personalized customer experience, achieving business objectives and leading a team to excellence, in full alignment with Audemars Piguet's standards, values and retail vision.
As Audemars Piguet's first official boutique in Australia, this role represents a unique opportunity to establish and develop the brand's presence in the market, setting the foundation for long‐term growth and desirability.
In this context, you will be responsible for:
Driving the overall performance of the boutique while increasing traffic, market share and overall profitability
Ensuring an exceptional and consistent customer experience across the entire client journey, in line with brand standards
Acting as a brand ambassador and establishing Audemars Piguet as a reference for top‐tier clients in the Australian market
Implementing retail strategies, guidelines and processes to ensure operational excellence and business performance
Building and developing a high‐value client base from the ground up, with a robust focus on HNW and top‐tier clients
Defining and executing client strategies including acquisition, segmentation and long‐term client development
Driving client engagement through targeted activations, partnerships and personal networks within the local luxury ecosystem
Monitoring and managing the client database (CRM) to support client development and engagement
Managing boutique performance through close monitoring of KPIs, sales pipeline and conversion
Analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and drive business decisions
Leading, coaching and developing the team to ensure engagement, performance and achievement of objectives
Fostering a high‐performance culture based on accountability, collaboration and excellence
Maintaining a strong on‐floor presence, ensuring excellence in service, storytelling and client journey at all times
Overseeing boutique operations to ensure seamless execution and alignment with brand standards
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with local, regional and global priorities
Ensuring full compliance with internal policies, operational standards and corporate governance requirements
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury retail or hospitality,
including significant leadership responsibilities
Proven leadership experience in managing boutique or flagship environments with strong commercial accountability
Strong client‐centric mindset with extensive experience engaging HNW or VIC clientele
Established network within the Australian luxury and high‐end ecosystem
Proven sales and business acumen with the ability to drive performance, manage KPIs and deliver results
Strong experience in client development, events and relationship management within a luxury environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate and develop high‐performing teams
Entrepreneurial and hands‐on mindset, comfortable operating in a launch or growth environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of business performance and client metrics
Proficiency with retail tools and CRM systems
Willingness to travel within Australia and internationally when required
