The Position We're seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to join dedicated teams in Community Mental Health, Child, Adolescent and Youth Mental Health, and Adult Inpatient Mental Health.
In these pivotal roles, you'll provide high-quality psychiatric assessment, treatment, and care planning, championing person-centred, recovery-oriented, family/carer-inclusive, and trauma-informed principles.
We're looking for effective communicators, collaborators, leaders, health advocates, scholars, and professionals who are passionate about proactive mental health service development, fostering a culture of learning and best practice, and contributing to quality improvement and research.
You'll participate in a pro-rata consultant on-call roster, providing after-hours coverage across mental health inpatient units, general hospitals (including emergency departments), and community mental health teams.
Key responsibility will also include teaching and supervision of other staff, including Trainees in Psychiatry.
