Senior Analyst / $200,000 - $220,000 / Central Location / Adaptable Working / 12 Month Contract A global mining business with sites in Australia and Africa, is looking to recruit a skilled analyst on a 12 month contract.
This role will likely lead to a permanent opportunity.
Working closely with the Head of Finance and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal part in the decision-making process, helping the business to grow both nationally and internationally.
The key duties are as follows: Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, valuation, and scenario analysis Develop three-statement models, DCF models, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives Analyse historical financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities Support M A, capital allocation, and investment decisions with quantitative analysis Prepare clear,



executive-ready presentations and dashboards Partner with business units to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and improve model accuracy The ideal person will have the following: Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, or accounting.
Post‐graduate professional accreditation (CA or CPA).
Advanced financial modelling capability, particularly in Excel.
Proven experience developing complex three‐way financial models.
Experience in the mining sector is essential.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building skills.
Availability at short notice, is essential.
