$68,000 to $88,000 per annum Full time Location: Northern Territory Job description : Perform daily tasks of a Fruit Farm under instruction of farmer, tasks include but are not limited to: ·Operate farm machinery and equipment to prepare land, plant, spray, and harvest crops.
·Prepare soil and plant crops using hand tools and machinery.
·Check crops regularly and report any pests, diseases, or damage.
·Operate and monitor irrigation and watering systems.
·Help set up and maintain trellises, fences, greenhouses, and other farm structures.
·Spray crops with chemicals under the instruction and supervision of the farmer.
· Pick and pack Fruits · Weeding, pruning crop ·Clean and maintain farm machinery, equipment, sheds, and work areas.
Skills and Experience Required: .
Hands-on, practical, and efficient · Previous experience in commercial irrigated fruit farming operations, with a proven track record in managing large fruit farming properties is desirable.
· Strong commercial acumen · Experience in workforce planning · High standards of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)

·Prepare soil and plant, weed, thin, and maintain vegetable crops.
·Set up and maintain trellises, greenhouses, and fences.
·Operate and manage irrigation and watering systems.
·Clean, maintain, and use farm equipment, machinery, and sheds.
·Apply pesticides and other crop treatments safely when required.
·Keep the farm clean and assist with general farm maintenance.
