IT Security Sydney Permanent Global enterprise organisation Unique CTIR role Highly skilled environment, well rewarded Launch Recruitment are exclusively supporting a leading enterprise organisation on the lookout for a Senior Cyber Threat Hunter to join their cyber defense team on a perm basis.
This role combines behavioral threat intelligence, controls-based research, and defensive cyber expertise to proactively identify previously undetected threats using attacker TTPs, behavioral analytics, and tools like EDR, SIEM, and TIP.
Required experience - 5+ years' experience in a cyber defense/SOC role, working within a structured ticketing/case management environment Hands-on experience with log management/SIEM platforms (Splunk essential)



Experience working within a SOAR or ticketing queue environment Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure Windows/Linux, Active Directory, cloud platforms, and identity systems Working knowledge of MITRE ATT CK and adversarial TTPs (Non-negotiable Highly regarded (not essential): Offensive security or red team experience or exposure Interest or experience applying AI/automation to accelerate research and analysis This is an opportunity to join a mature, well-resourced cyber defense function within a highly regarded global organisation, working on high-impact, intelligence-driven security work at enterprise scale, unique to Australian enterprise organisations.
