13th July, **** Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Night Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Shift: Afternoon Shift 3.00pm to *****pm Overtime: Available About the Role We are seeking an experienced Blow Moulding Machine Technician to join a leading manufacturer within the packaging industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual with extrusion blow moulding experience to work in a contemporary manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Optimise extrusion blow moulding processes to consistently meet production specifications and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Operate, monitor and adjust blow moulding machines, material handling systems and automated packaging equipment.
Perform minor machine set-up adjustments to maintain optimal production performance.
Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to maximise machine reliability and minimise downtime.
Support maintenance and mould change activities to ensure efficient production flow.
Maintain high standards of product quality while adhering to all safety procedures, including Take5 and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.
Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to achieve production targets.




Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Reliability.
Report equipment faults, incidents and near misses promptly.
Skills Experience To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience operating and maintaining extrusion blow moulding machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
Minimum of one year's experience performing blow moulding machine maintenance.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Experience within food manufacturing or other high-quality manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications No formal qualification required.
Trade qualification (Mechanical, Fitting Turning, Maintenance or similar) highly regarded.
Mechanically minded with hands-on maintenance experience.
