Role: MS Modern Workplace Engineer Architect Location: Sydney (Hybrid) Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions Experience: 7+ Years Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Modern Workplace Engineer to deploy, administer, and support enterprise Microsoft workplace technologies including Windows 365 Cloud PC, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Cloud Security solutions.
The engineer will provide operational excellence, technical troubleshooting, platform optimization, and project implementation support.
Key Responsibilities: Microsoft Modern Workplace Engineer / SME - Windows 365 Intune Windows 365 Administration Deploy and manage Windows 365 Cloud PC environments.
Provision, monitor, and troubleshoot Cloud PCs.
Manage image lifecycle and desktop experience optimization.
Support scaling and migration activities.
Application Management and Policy creation Creation of automation pipeline using terraform or visual studio code Microsoft Intune Administration: Support Autopilot deployments and lifecycle management.
Identity Management - Administer Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
Active Directory Administration Manage enterprise Active Directory infrastructure.
Troubleshoot authentication and identity-related issues.
Maintain AD security best practices and Group Policies.
Security Operations Implement endpoint security controls.
Support Microsoft Defender deployment and administration.
Monitor compliance, vulnerabilities,



and security incidents.
Assist with Zero Trust initiatives and remediation activities.
Participate in migration and transformation projects.
Create technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Support testing, deployment, and transition-to-operations activities.
Working with the solution architect to align to the solution.
3-7 years supporting Microsoft endpoint and identity technologies.
Experience managing enterprise Intune environments.
Experience in Windows 365 administration and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles.
Robust in automation and scripting Have good understanding of agile environment and align to ITIL processes.
Strong in Networking and Cloud technologies Required Skills Experience: Windows 365 Cloud PC, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect, Microsoft Defender, Windows Endpoint Management, PowerShell Scripting, Group Policy, Endpoint Security and Compliance Key Responsibilities - Microsoft Modern Workplace Architect - Windows 365 Security Architecture Strategy - Design and implement enterprise Modern Workplace architectures leveraging Microsoft 365 technologies.
Lead solution design for Windows 365 Cloud PC deployments, scaling, and optimization.
Develop roadmap and architecture standards for endpoint management and identity services.




Provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption, workplace modernization, and security transformation programs.
Identity Access Management Design and align to the security requirements Architect hybrid identity environments integrating: Design Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) strategies.
Align to the Zero Trust security frameworks.
Work with the security team to align to there architecture and governance framework during the design and build of windows 365 cloud pc solution that would entail the below but not limited to Conduct architecture reviews and security risk assessments.
Engage executive stakeholders and business leaders.
Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and governance meetings.
Produce Detailed Level design and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
Work with the enterprise architect Algin to the Delivery Managers vision in conjunction with the enterprise architect.
8+ years in Microsoft Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions.
5+ years designing enterprise Modern Workplace solutions.
Experience in solution designs in large-scale cloud transformation programs.
Experience working within highly regulated environments.
