Description As Manager – CPD Professional Learning, you will lead the development, quality assurance and governance of CPD and skilled learning content and knowledge assets, managing the CPD team to deliver education products that meet member and profession needs.
About the role The Manager – CPD Professional Learning provides leadership for PSA's Continuing Career development (CPD) and professional learning portfolio, overseeing the end-to-end planning, content development, delivery and continuous improvement.
This role is responsible for the planning and management of PSA's CPD and professional learning portfolio, ensuring educational offerings are contemporary, evidence-based, viable and aligned with member needs, professional practice priorities and organisational strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Education Training, the role leads a team responsible for education content development, webinar and workshop delivery, online learning, conferences and professional education initiatives.
The role collaborates across business units and partners with projects, partners and sponsors to translate strategic opportunities into high-quality CPD and professional learning offerings that deliver value to members and the profession.
This role is a full-time position reporting to and working under the Head of Education Training.

Key Responsibilities Leadership People Management Lead, mentor and support the CPD professional learning team to deliver high-quality education products and learning materials.
Oversee workforce planning, capability development and performance management within the team.
Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture aligned with ONEPSA values.
Portfolio Strategy Planning Lead the planning and ongoing management of PSA's CPD and Professional Learning portfolio.
Develop annual education priorities, topic roadmaps and delivery schedules aligned with organisational strategy, emerging healthcare trends and member needs.
Identify opportunities for new CPD and professional learning products, partnerships and innovative delivery models.
Collaborate with the Head of Education Training to establish the strategic direction and future education pipeline.
CPD Professional Learning Development Delivery Lead the end-to-end planning, development, review and maintenance of CPD and pharmacist learning products.
Oversee the development, review and maintenance of CPD and professional learning products across online learning, webinars, workshops, conferences, masterclasses and other education formats.
Ensure content is accurate, evidence-based, contemporary and fit-for-purpose.
Oversee editorial review, content quality assurance and consistent application of PSA's writing, branding and technical standards.
Oversee operational planning, resource allocation and delivery schedules.
Partnerships,



Sponsored Education Strategic Programs Partner with the Projects Policy Business Units to design and deliver education associated with funded projects and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with commercial partners, sponsors and external organisations to develop high-quality education programs.
Lead the team responsible for educational planning and delivery of sponsored webinars and professional learning activities.
Quality, Governance Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with PSA quality systems, CPD accreditation standards, governance requirements and ethical obligations.
Support audit readiness through accurate documentation, version control and evidence management.
Provide input into analytics requirements and reporting to inform CPD decision-making and quality improvement.
Performance, Evaluation Analytics Establish key performance indicators for the CPD Professional Learning portfolio.
Monitor portfolio performance, member/learner engagement, participation and educational outcomes.
Analyse evaluation data to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Provide regular reporting on portfolio performance, emerging trends and outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts, contributors and other internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with instructional design, training delivery, projects, policy and membership teams for seamless implementation.
Support member engagement and high-quality customer outcomes through responsive and professional collaboration.
Financial Resource Management Contribute to portfolio budgeting, forecasting and resource planning.
Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
Ensure efficient utilisation of resources and operational budgets.
About you Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years) in leading professional education, CPD, learning experience or content development teams.
Demonstrated experience developing or managing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or professional education content within a regulated or professional context.
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary education teams.
Significant experience as an education expert, health professional educator or medical/technical writer.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, competency development and assessment.
Demonstrated project management capability, including managing timelines, budgets and competing priorities.
Desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or successor) or relevant qualification in adult education.
Experience working within education governance or professional standards frameworks.
Experience in digital learning design,



online platforms or multimedia education.
Experience in conference education planning and professional events.
Experience managing sponsored education or commercial education partnerships.
