Position Join a team of likeminded and experienced Paediatricians.
The position is suitable for a paediatrician who has competency in acute Paediatrics, Neonatology (Level 4 SCN), Ambulatory Paediatrics including Developmental and Behavioural issues.
Experience, interest or training in Paediatric Diabetes, teaching and education can be an advantage.
The acute Paediatrics service is supported by six (6) Paediatric Registrars providing 24/7 onsite cover and three (3) Paediatric HMOs seven days a week.
The Paediatrics service is located at a major acute referral hospital for the sub region.
Hospital The hospital is a leading Regional Public Health Service in the Hume Region of Victoria and a pioneer in healthcare delivery.
It is the primary acute referral hospital for the sub-region, with the main campus located in a outstanding location.
Pathology services are partnered with Melbourne's Austin Hospital, while Medical Imaging and Pathology services are available 24/7 onsite.

Requirements The position requires AHPRA Specialist registration (RACP -Paediatrics) or eligibility for FRACP within 6 months.
