This one combines both.
We're partnering with one of Australia's leading retailers to appoint a Head of Supply Chain Technology - a business-critical leadership role responsible for the technology platforms that power procurement, inventory, warehousing, fulfilment and customer delivery.
This isn't a traditional Head of Supply Chain position, and it isn't a pure Engineering leadership role.
Instead, you'll own the Enterprise Applications, ERP and Supply Chain Technology ecosystem, working at the intersection of Operations, Product and Engineering to ensure technology delivers measurable business outcomes.
About the Role: Reporting into senior technology leadership, you'll own the strategy, roadmap and delivery of the applications that support the end-to-end supply chain.
You'll lead a multidisciplinary technology team while partnering closely with Operations, Product and Engineering to modernise platforms, improve operational performance and deliver scalable technology solutions.
This is a genuine player-coach role.
You'll be expected to shape strategy and influence architecture while remaining close enough to the technology to challenge decisions, support major initiatives and provide leadership during complex operational incidents.




Key Responsibilities Own the Enterprise Applications supporting the Supply Chain function.
Define and execute the technology roadmap across ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS and supporting platforms.
Drive application modernisation, integrations and automation initiatives.
Partner with Operations to improve procurement, inventory, warehousing, fulfilment and logistics capabilities.
Work closely with Engineering and Product to deliver scalable technology solutions.
Own technology vendors, SaaS platforms, commercial agreements and application budgets.
Lead technology incidents, operational resilience and continuous platform improvement.
Develop and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary technology team.
About You You'll most likely come from a background in: Enterprise Applications Business Systems Supply Chain Technology ERP Business Platforms Technology Business Partnering You'll bring experience leading technology teams and owning complex application landscapes rather than purely operational supply chain functions.
You'll also have experience across several of the following: SAP, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or similar ERP platforms.
WMS, OMS and TMS platforms.
Enterprise integrations, APIs and middleware.
Supply Chain Technology and Enterprise Applications.
Vendor and SaaS management.
Technology roadmaps and application lifecycle management.
Leading multidisciplinary technology teams.
Partnering with Operations,



Product and Engineering.
Driving automation, AI or digital transformation initiatives.
