An established organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their collaborative payroll team on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, confidently manage business-as-usual payroll processing, and support a friendly team environment.
Working within a high-volume payroll environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting the wider payroll function.
Key Responsibilities End-to-end processing of business-as-usual payroll Interpretation and application of the SCHADS Award Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments Managing leave, superannuation and payroll reconciliations Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers Maintaining payroll data integrity and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation Supporting the payroll team during busy processing periods About You To be successful in this role, you will have:



Proven experience in a Payroll Officer position within a medium to large organisation Demonstrated experience interpreting and processing payroll under the SCHADS Award Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Availability to commence immediately What's on Offer Immediate start Supportive and collaborative team environment Competitive hourly rate Based in the leafy Eastern suburbs, parking available and also 5 - 10 minute walk from train station If you're an experienced payroll qualified with strong SCHADS Award knowledge and are available to start immediately, we'd love to hear from you.
