What the Senior Field Service Fitter Plant Mechanic Diesel Mechanic will do each day Perform 100% field service work supporting heavy earthmoving and vehicle fleets across Brisbane and surrounding northern suburbs of Queensland.
Respond to breakdowns promptly and perform expert diagnostics on heavy equipment including OEM brands such as Komatsu, CAT, Hitachi, Volvo, and more.
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance programs to maximize asset uptime.
Undertake hydraulic repairs, hose replacements and component rebuilds efficiently onsite.
Complete engine rebuilds and major component change-outs adhering to high safety and quality standards.
Conduct electrical fault finding, accessory fitment, and air conditioning servicing where accredited.
Perform Truck COI inspections if qualified and apply welding and fabrication skills as required.
Engage professionally with clients onsite to ensure service satisfaction and technical support.
