Telecommunications Melbourne Permanent Competitive salary and flexible working environment Excellent career development opportunities Join a team-oriented and high-performing engineering team We are looking for an experienced Senior RAN Engineer to join our clients Engineering team and support the design, deployment, commissioning and optimisation of 4G, 5G and microwave networks .
This role offers the opportunity to work on critical wireless infrastructure projects while collaborating with engineering, project and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities Design, deploy and optimise LTE and 5G Radio Access Networks (RAN).
Integrate and commission eNodeBs (eNB) and gNodeBs (gNB).
Perform RF planning, coverage and capacity analysis.
Conduct drive testing using TEMS , Nemo or similar tools.
Design and optimise microwave transmission links.




Monitor network KPIs and troubleshoot RAN performance issues.
Prepare engineering documentation and support network upgrades.
Skills Experience Degree in Telecommunications, Communications or Electrical Engineering.
4+ years' experience in RAN Engineering (LTE/5G).
Experience with RF planning and optimisation.
Hands-on experience with TEMS , Nemo , ATDI HTZ and/or Cambium Link Planner .
Strong understanding of microwave transmission, RF planning and network optimisation.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
