Role Description This part-time remote Community-Based Physiotherapist role involves delivering physiotherapy services to SAH and NDIS clients in their homes and community settings.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, recommending necessary equipment and providing ongoing rehabilitation and exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
The role requires close collaboration with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary team members to support functional goals and community participation.
Day-to-day tasks also include documenting clinical notes, coordinating referrals, monitoring outcomes,
and contributing to quality improvement and best-practice service delivery.
The physiotherapist is expected to manage a caseload while maintaining high standards of professional conduct and client communication.
Qualifications Bachlor Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA.
Demonstrated skills in musculoskeletal, neurological, and community-based rehabilitation, including functional assessment and exercise prescription.
Ability to deliver services to clients at their residence, with strong digital literacy and confidence using clinical software and online communication tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
Experience working in community, NDIS, SAH or disability settings is highly regarded.
Sound clinical reasoning, time management, and caseload prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage part time hours effectively.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and legal standards in healthcare.
Valid working rights in Australia; current driver's licence and access to reliable transport for community visits may be beneficial.
