About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Taxation Accountant to join our professional team in Adelaide.
You will be responsible for providing taxation, accounting, and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses and individual clients.

Employment Type : Full time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent position Key Responsibilities ·Preparing and reviewing income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts in accordance with Australian taxation requirements.
·Preparing and lodging BAS, GST returns, PAYG reports, and other compliance obligations.
·Preparing financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, trial balances, and working papers.




·Analysing accounting records and financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting and taxation standards.
·Assisting clients with taxation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, and superannuation compliance matters.
·Managing bookkeeping functions, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
·Liaising with clients, the ATO, ASIC, and external stakeholders regarding accounting and taxation matters.
·Providing accounting and taxation support to managers and clients using Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Excel.
Skills and Experience ·Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in accounting or a related field.
·Minimum 3 years' experience in taxation, business services, or public practice accounting.
·Commenced or currently undertaking CA ANZ or CPA studies.
·Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements.
·Experience with Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Excel.
·Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
