A leading skincare manufacturer with significant presence in the Asia-Pacific region is seeking a dynamic
General Manager
to lead and transform its entire Australian operations based in Sydney.
Reporting directly to a key board member based in Asia, you will have full P&L; responsibility and be the driving force behind operational excellence and strategic growth.
The Role
Full P&L; & Leadership:
Oversee the end-to-end Sydney operations, including a local factory and office team.
Operational Transformation:
Spearhead critical improvements in manufacturing efficiency, procurement, and supply chain to address current challenges and boost performance.
Global Strategy Integration:
Develop cost strategies and ensure the Australian business aligns with and implements global best practices.
Team Building:
Lead, mentor, and provide clear direction to the local Australian team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
About You
Bilingual & Bridge-Builder:
Fluent in Mandarin and English is non-negotiable, to seamlessly liaise between Australian operations and global leadership.
Manufacturing Expert:
*****% of your background is in Manufacturing, Procurement or R&D;, with proven experience managing a full factory.



Experience in skincare or FMCG is essential.
Change Agent:
Hands‐on, energetic, with a track record of driving significant performance improvements. Experience as a robust "Number 2" in a larger organisation is ideal.
Eligible to Work:
Must hold Australian PR or a valid work permit.
The Context & Challenge
The priority of this role is to blend deep operational expertise with commercial acumen and a sense for global brand dynamics—moving beyond "pure manufacturing" to be a true business leader. You will collaborate closely with teams in Shanghai (Marketing), Guangzhou (Sales), and Suzhou (R&D;).
