The platform is live. Customers are active across Australia, New Zealand, and international markets. The challenge now is scale, not in theory, but in production. You'll own the architectural vision and help translate it into systems that are resilient, secure, and built to evolve.
This is not a passive governance role. You'll be close to the code, close to the product, and close to the people building it. You'll shape decisions that materially affect customers, velocity, and long-term platform health, and you'll help create the technical blueprint for what this company becomes next.
What You'll Be Doing
Owning architectural direction across a modern, cloud-native, distributed platform
Designing, building, and evolving event-driven, serverless systems engineered for scale and reliability
Leading architectural thinking for new product initiatives and major platform evolution work
Staying hands-on with code, reviews, and technical decision-making — not just documentation
Partnering deeply with Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to turn strategy into execution
Designing mobile-first and API-first systems that power customer-facing experiences
Embedding security, privacy, and compliance into the platform by design, not as an afterthought




Defining architectural standards and patterns that enable speed rather than slow teams down
Acting as a technical leader and mentor for senior engineers and tech leads, raising the overall bar
What You'll Bring
5+ years' experience in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture, ideally within SaaS, product, or scale-up environments
Strong hands-on AWS experience, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and serverless architectures
Practical experience designing and building systems using modern TypeScript / Node.js and React
A track record of evolving platforms to support growth, performance, and operational maturity
Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance in real-world production environments
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
A DevOps-first mindset, with exposure to CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native operational practices
The confidence and communication skills to influence technical direction and align teams around a shared vision
