HOBA Tech helps organisations transform the business first, then align technology and AI to deliver outcomes. We work with technology partners who can bring deep AI, architecture, integration, and platform capability to client engagements — without defaulting to technology-first thinking. This is a partner / contract opportunity, not a standard employment role.
ABOUT YOU
You are a senior technology or AI practitioner who understands that architecture only matters if the business can use it. You can move between technical depth and executive conversation. You are comfortable advising on AI strategy one day and integration detail the next. You want your work to land in real organisations, not just slide decks.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support enterprise AI transformation and technology-enabled change using the HOBA methodology
Assess AI readiness, technology capability, data maturity, and platform fit
Design architecture, integration, and governance approaches that align with business outcomes
Advise on AI governance, ethics, risk, security, and operating models
Work with business stakeholders to identify high-value, feasible use cases
Support HOBA Pro platform configuration, integration, and rollout where relevant
Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical executives
CORE CAPABILITIES
AI strategy, assessment, and roadmap development
Generative AI, LLMs, copilots, and AI agent design
Cloud architecture and enterprise platform integration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Data architecture, data governance, and analytics platforms
MLOps,



model lifecycle management, and AI assurance
SaaS integration, API design, and enterprise architecture patterns
Security, privacy, and responsible AI governance
EXPERIENCE WE LOOK FOR
8+ years in technology architecture, AI/ML delivery, enterprise integration, or digital transformation
Hands‐on experience with enterprise AI/ML implementations and cloud platforms
Strong stakeholder skills — able to engage C‐suite, data teams, and delivery teams
Track record on technology transformation projects in enterprise or government
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Australian / Recent Zealand work authorisation or valid work visa (global candidates also considered)
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
Cloud or AI/ML certifications from AWS, Azure, Google, or equivalent
Enterprise architecture certification (TOGAF, Zachman) or equivalent experience
Experience with HOBA methodology or willingness to certify
Consulting background and client‐facing delivery experience
Knowledge of AI regulatory landscape and responsible AI frameworks
