We have an exciting prospect for a Systems Maintainer to join our Signalling team based at our Qantas Drive depot, with travel around the SEQ Network required.
For this role, you must possess the Certificate III in Mechanical Rail Signalling to be considered.
In the role of a Systems Maintainer, your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical signalling equipment within the Southeast Queensland (SEQ) rail network.
You will be part of a team comprising both electrical and mechanical signal maintenance experts collaborating closely.
Your work will involve a diverse range of rail-specific infrastructure, including Points Machines, Level Crossings, and Pedestrian Crossing Mechanisms.
What Queensland Rail has to offer Work a 9-day fortnight dayshift, rostered nightshift when required A starting salary of $72,000 with potential earning up to $120,000 - including penalties (based on qualifications) + superannuation Travel on paid work time including expenses All PPE and uniform supplied Strong focus on safety – we 'work safe' every day to ensure everyone goes 'home safe' In this role you will Assist with the installation,
