Senior ICT Strategic Sourcing Specialist Initial Contract until February **** | Brisbane CBD | Hybrid Working We are seeking an experienced Senior ICT Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join a large and highly regarded Queensland organisation undertaking significant technology transformation initiatives.
This role will focus on leading complex, high-value technology procurement activities supporting major enterprise platform programs.
Working within a quick-paced project environment, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end sourcing processes, providing commercial leadership, and partnering with project teams to deliver strategic procurement outcomes that support critical business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement activities for major ICT transformation initiatives.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for enterprise technology, SaaS, software, implementation services, and related ICT procurements.
Prepare procurement plans, market approach documentation, evaluation frameworks, commercial assessments, negotiation strategies, and contract award recommendations.
Manage competitive procurement processes, including market engagement, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.
Partner closely with project managers, technology teams, legal representatives, and executive stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with delivery schedules and project objectives.




Manage multiple concurrent procurement activities while maintaining quality outcomes and meeting critical project milestones.

What We're Looking For Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end ICT procurement and strategic sourcing activities within large and complex environments.
Strong background managing high-value technology procurements, including enterprise platforms, SaaS solutions, systems integration services, and professional services engagements.
Proven capability leading complex tender processes, commercial evaluations, supplier negotiations, and contract award activities.
Strong understanding of procurement governance, probity, risk management, and commercial contracting principles.
Knowledge of Queensland Government procurement frameworks, including QITC and Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP), is advantageous but not essential.
