Night Shift Boiler Superintendent Roster: Casual contract, starting mid-August till November | Working Monday to Friday Location: Millmerran, QLD Responsibilities: Supervise all boiler outage activities undertaken during night shift Provide direct oversight of boiler contractors to ensure protected and productive execution of work Monitor progress against the boiler outage schedule and planned milestones Coordinate and maintain boiler access requirements to support ongoing and upcoming work scopes Identify and resolve emerging issues that may impact schedule, productivity or safety Ensure work areas remain safe, organised and ready for continuous execution Coordinate with outage supervision, operations and contractor representatives to maintain work continuity Verify that required resources, materials, equipment and permits are available for day shift activities Monitor contractor performance and drive accountability for productivity and work quality Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements Provide detailed shift handovers, including progress updates, risks, constraints and priorities Escalate significant safety, quality, schedule or resource issues as required shift Essential Requirements:



Current Drivers Licence Experience supervising boiler outage, shutdown or maintenance activities within outages or heavy industry Strong understanding of boiler systems, outage execution and contractor management Demonstrated leadership capability in a fast-paced outage environment Experience coordinating multiple work fronts and competing priorities Strong safety leadership and risk management capability Ability to maintain schedule focus while managing emergent issues Effective communication, planning and shift handover skills Ability to build productive working relationships with contractors, operations personnel and outage teams About the company Category 5 Labour Management is an Australian owned success story, a leading provider of full-service labour management solutions, supporting the local communities in which we operate and the people within them.
