Operator Maintainer – Automated Distribution Centre Rooty Hill 4 On / 4 Off | 6:00pm – 6:00am (Night Shift) $125,000 – $130,000 + Overtime + Super We're partnering with a leading distribution company to recruit an Operator Maintainer for a highly automated facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with equipment, working closely with operations and maintenance teams, and playing a key role in keeping production running efficiently.
As the first point of contact for equipment issues, you'll carry out first-line maintenance, monitor automated systems, and help ensure the site operates safely and reliably.
The Role Conduct first-line maintenance and respond to equipment faults across the site Monitor automated material handling systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operation Carry out basic fault finding and resolve minor issues where possible Escalate more complex faults and work alongside Maintenance Technicians to minimise downtime Support Operators by ensuring equipment is running efficiently and production targets are achieved Perform routine inspections, equipment checks, and preventative maintenance tasks Record maintenance activities and communicate equipment performance during shift handovers Maintain a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement About You Experience working in a warehouse,



logistics or automated distribution environment Fork Lift Licence Previous experience in an Operator Maintainer, Machine Operator, Maintenance Operator, or similar role Mechanical aptitude with the ability to carry out first-line maintenance and basic fault finding Comfortable working with conveyors, automated machinery, and material handling equipment Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with both Operations and Maintenance teams Proactive approach to problem solving and equipment reliability Willingness to work a permanent 4 On / 4 Off night shift roster What's On Offer $125,000 – $130,000 + Super Overtime available Permanent 4 On / 4 Off roster (6:00pm – 6:00am) Opportunity to work in a up-to-date, highly automated distribution facility Stable long-term role with career development opportunities Supportive team environment with ongoing training and development If you're looking for a role where you can combine operations with hands-on maintenance in a fast-paced automated environment, we'd love to hear from you.
