Jazzpoly Specialists Pty Ltd is a leading Queensland-based provider of polyethylene welding, fabrication, installation, and equipment solutions.
Established in ****, with over 30 years of industry experience, we deliver specialist services to the mining, civil construction, infrastructure, plumbing, agricultural, and building sectors throughout Queensland.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of multiple projects across South East Queensland.
About the Role Reporting directly to the Director and Project Management Team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring contractual compliance, cost control, subcontractor management, and efficient project administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Develop, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontract agreements, and service agreements.
Prepare and manage project documentation, contract correspondence, variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and claims.
Monitor project budgets, commitments, procurement activities, and expenditure.
Assess and process subcontractor progress claims and invoices.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Maintain accurate contract records, document control systems, and project registers.
Identify and manage contractual risks, compliance requirements, and commercial issues.
Prepare project reports, cost forecasts,
and management updates.
Assist with procurement processes, tender evaluations, and subcontractor selection.
Support project close-out activities, including final accounts and contract completion documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS requirements, and contractual obligations.
Skills Experience Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Contract Administrator, Project Administrator, or similar role.
Experience within construction, civil infrastructure, utilities, engineering, or related industries.
Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, project documentation, and cost management.
Ability to interpret contracts, specifications, and technical documentation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
High level of attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience with project management or contract administration software is desirable.
Qualifications Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Business or a related field.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
White Card (desirable).
