About your new company A well-established commercial construction contractor based in North West Sydney specialising in design and construction, fit out, and refurbishment projects across the greater Sydney region.
The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes across industrial, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
The Opportunity As a Senior Contracts Administrator you will play a critical role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of large, complex industrial and commercial projects ranging from $10M - $50M.
You will be responsible for overseeing procurement, contracts administration, and financial management, ensuring projects are delivered profitably, compliantly, and to the highest standards.
What You Will Do Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts for large scale new build projects Oversee procurement activities including trade package preparation, tender reviews, and contract awards Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with financial targets Manage and review progress claims, variations,



and payment schedules in line with contractual obligations Provide commercial and contractual advice to project managers Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and clients Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, building codes, and workplace health and safety legislation Mentor and support junior contracts administrators to build capability What We Are Looking For 5-10 years of experience in contracts administration or commercial management within construction, ideally on large scale current build projects Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline Advanced knowledge of contracts, procurement processes, and commercial management principles Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in forecasting, cost control, and reporting Proficiency in Cheops or Jobpac Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring or guiding junior staff Why Join Us You will be part of a collaborative established team.
