An established commercial construction company based in the north-east of Melbourne is looking for an experienced Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team.
With a solid pipeline of secured work and an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects, this is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial developments in a cooperative and supportive environment.
The Role Working closely with the Pre-Construction Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions while helping secure new projects.
Key responsibilities include: Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
Conducting quantity take-offs and obtaining subcontractor and supplier pricing.
Assessing project risks and identifying value engineering opportunities.
Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout the tender process.




Supporting negotiations and assisting with project handovers to delivery teams.
Maintaining estimating databases and market pricing.
About You Previous experience of 3-8 years as an Estimator within commercial construction.
Strong understanding of commercial building methodologies and construction costs.
Experience preparing competitive tenders across a range of commercial projects.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
