This is far more than a traditional Head of School role.
You will lead a residential middle years campus, providing strategic and operational leadership across teaching and learning, student wellbeing, staff development and community engagement.
Working closely with the Executive Principal, you will play a key role in shaping the future of an innovative Years 7 to 12 school committed to educational excellence and meaningful outcomes for young people.

The Opportunity As Head of School, you will provide visible leadership across a thriving middle years campus and will be responsible for: Leading an innovative and culturally responsive educational program for students in Years 7 to 9.
Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging residential learning environment where every student can thrive.
Leading, mentoring and developing teaching, residential and support staff to achieve outstanding educational and wellbeing outcomes.




Building strong partnerships with families, community leaders and key education stakeholders.
Embedding trauma informed practice and positive behaviour support across the campus.
Supporting enrolment growth, student engagement and successful transition into senior schooling.
Maintaining high standards of governance, compliance, child safety and operational excellence.
This is a hands on leadership role requiring a visible and collaborative leader who enjoys working closely with students, staff and the wider community.
About You You are an experienced educational leader with a passion for improving outcomes for young people and leading high performing teams.
You will bring: Leadership experience as a Deputy Principal, Head of School, Campus Leader or Principal.
Current teacher registration in Western Australia, or eligibility to obtain registration.
Experience working within regional, remote, residential or boarding school environments will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated success leading student wellbeing, teaching excellence and staff development.
Strong relationship building skills with the ability to engage respectfully with diverse communities and stakeholders.
Financial and operational capability, including oversight of budgets and school resources.
Resilience,



adaptability and a collaborative leadership style.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and communities will be highly regarded.
